Hummels on the Verge of Joining Serie A

 

An Italian media report has indicated that former Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels is close to moving to Serie A.

According to Sky Italia, Hummels is set to join AS Roma on a free transfer.

The report added that Hummels will sign a one-year contract with the Italian capital club.

Hummels left Dortmund this summer and had been linked with several clubs during the recent transfer window.
